Re: A Swelling of the Ground*

Influenced by and about Emily Dickinson

Reminds me at times, as if Poe were writing about Emily Dickinson, or one of his female characters.

Poe & Emily - 2 of my kindred literary spirits

Esp like the incisive:

"Frail, yet a power to
stun death itself."

Some grammaticals, and etc. incorporated: In the shadow of Mount Damavand a phalanx of Cedars needles back those who push a little to get a clear view of downtown Teheran. In 1936, Reza Shah wanted moderation for h...

Re: Last Day At The Vet's

It is a God-sent when someone writes, sings, paints or sculpts - creates - an entity that I need to experience, share in, or that is akin to an experience of my own that hasn't been held in the light for quite some time. I definitely can relate to this humane event, not only with pets, but with othe...

Re: No Papier Mache Doll, This

Hi Siva,

Given the title, the last 2 lines

"Meena Kandaswamy
is no papier mache Golu doll"

aren't needed.

But I workshop-suggest including "Golu" in the title.
