There is no racism in this poem. You don't have to be afraid or hesitant to critique it.

It's disappointing to me that no one on this forum will tackle a controversial topic. Black men were, in fact, the men I found most attractive, which is why it was doubly disappointing to me that some of them seemed to dislike me almost instinctively. As I said, this is not a racist poem. It is merely a factual accounting of one such experience I had. I have also written poems in praise of black lovers.
